Conrac Solutions Project Delivery received award recognition as lead developer of the Austin-Bergstrom consolidated rental car facility for “Best Industrial Project,” in the Commercial Real Estate Awards, announced May 10, 2016.

The Commercial Real Estate Awards recognizes the people and projects that exemplify best practices in building and development, which have had the biggest impact on community, pertaining to central Texas. This event honored projects completed in 2015 and was sponsored by a number of entities including Austin Business Journal, Real Estate Council of Austin, Urban Land Institute, Austin and several local companies.

Conrac Solutions Project Delivery led pre-development, financing, deal terms and construction of the facility in coordination with Demattei Wong Architecture and Austin Commercial starting in 2011. Conrac Solutions supported the asset manager and design team with operational considerations for the project in addition to overseeing activation and subsequent fueling and operations after the facility’s Oct. 1, 2015 opening.

“The collective expertise of the Conrac Solutions family of companies allowed us to take on the complexity and challenges presented by a project of this caliber,” says Conrac Solutions CEO, Desiree Pfeffer. “We are grateful to be recognized for the culmination of a six-year effort, which opened on time and under budget.”

Other award categories include deal of the year, industrial development, multifamily development, office development, biggest transaction, community impact, retail development and best retail project, among others.
